Our Father (July 17, 2016) The Scripture is Matthew 6:9-13. This familiar passage is commonly called the Lord's Prayer. Sometimes when we memorize things, they cease to have meaning. The hope is that by examining this text in a new way, we can revitalize our prayer life.
Freedom in Christ (July 3, 2016) The Scriptures are Galatians 5:1 and 5:13-26. As Americans, we celebrate our freedom on July 4, as Christians, we celebrate our freedom every day! While living in the United States gives us many freedoms, we must always remember our ultimate freedom is found in Christ and His sacrifice.
Redemption in Ruth - Parts 1-4 (June 5-26, 2016) This series takes on a journey through the Old Testament Book of Ruth. Ruth is a story of Redemption, a story where we see God's plan for Salvation at work in the hands of Ruth and Boaz. Ruth shows us what it looks like to truly be redeemed.
Christ is Risen! Hallelujah! (March 27, 2016) Happy Easter! This is the story that changes everything about our stories. Easter is why we can confidently claim Christ's promise of eternal life, and ultimately, the reason we can have hope for each new day! The Scripture is Luke 24:1-12.

Jesus is Greater - (August 18, 2016-November 6, 2016). This Sermon Series led us through every verse of the letter to the Hebrews, a beautiful letter that blends the Old and New Testaments to explain the Story of God's Love for us from Creation to now. It clearly expresses that Jesus is greater than everything in this world. The series is broken into sections as follows:
Hebrews 1:1-3 (Part 1) - An introduction to the letter.
Hebrews 1:4-2:18 (Part 2) - Jesus is Greater than angels and a call to faith.
Hebrews 3:1-4:11 (Part 3) - Jesus is greater than Moses.
Hebrews 4:12-5:10 (Part 4) - Jesus is the greatest High Priest and He uses Scripture to guide us.
Hebrews 5:11-6:20 (Part 5) - Move towards spiritual maturity and a personal relationship with God.
Hebrews 7:1-22 (Part 6) - Melchizedek as an image of Jesus and a challenge to share the Gospel.
Hebrews 8:1-9:10 (Part 7) - Jesus guarantees a better covenant than the Old Testament.
Hebrews 9:11-10:18 (Part 8) - Jesus offers the most amazing sacrifice and we owe Him true worship.
Hebrews 10:19-39 (Part 9) - A radical call to perseverance in faith, regardless our circumstances.
Hebrews 11:1-39 (Part 10) - Faith may call us to do far more than we ever imagined.
Hebrews 12:1-29 (Part 11) - Reminds us to be imitators of Christ and to claim Grace.
Hebrews 13:1-25 (Part 12) - Solid advice to shape our relationships with each other.
Revival (November 13, 2016) The Scripture is Ezekiel 37:1-14. We all crave revival. We crave the renewal of our spirits. As we explore this incredible story where a valley of dry bones is given new life, we also learn some of the steps we need to take to truly experience revival.
Give Thanks (November 20, 2016) The Scripture is Psalm 100:1-5. We have to acknowledge that God is the source of every good thing. Once we acknowledge this, giving thanks is the only appropriate response to the goodness of God.
Behold the Lamb of God (November 27, 2016 - December 18, 2016) This Advent sermon series is designed to lead us to the manger on Christmas Day. Let us grow in our faith as we prepare to receive the gift of Christ and behold the Lamb of God.
Isaiah 9:2-7 (27 Nov) - An Old Testament Prophecy about the coming of Christ
Luke 1:5-25 (4 Dec) - The birth of John the Baptist is foretold.
Epiphany (January 8, 2017) The Scripture is Matthew 2:1-12. The coming of the Magi to visit Jesus is one of the most familiar stories of our Savior's birth, however, as with most of Scripture, there is more to it than meets the eye. In this story, we see the greatest epiphany ever, the revelation of all that Christ has come to do and be.
Let God Be God (January 22, 2017 - February 12, 2017) Almost all of us who grew up in the Church know the story of Jonah, but there is so much more to this story than what we learned in Sunday School! At its heart, this is a story about Jonah trying to be God and failing miserably. Throughout Jonah's story we see the unending and unrelenting compassion of our God, and His desire to save all people.

Jonah 2:1-10 ( 5 Feb) - Jonah prays inside the fish
Jonah 3:1-10 (12 Feb) - Jonah finally preaches to Nineveh
Jonah 4:1-11 (19 Feb) - God calls Jonah out for his lack of compassion
Glorious (February 26, 2017) The Scripture is Mark 9:2-13. The Transfiguration of Jesus is just a foretaste of His full glory that is revealed to us through His death and resurrection. This story leads us perfectly into the season of Lent as it reminds us that Jesus must always have the most important position in our lives, our churches, and our world.
The Kingdom Comes (March 5, 2017-April 2, 2017) This Lenten sermon series will take us through the Sermon on the Mount, one of the most extended and influential teachings of Christ. Through this journey, we will learn more about the Kingdom Jesus came to build and prepare our hearts to celebrate His death and resurrection during Holy Week.

Matthew 5:21-48 (12 March) - Teachings on Murder, Adultery, Divorce, Oaths, and loving all
Matthew 6:1-24 (19 March) - The world is not our stage to draw attention to ourselves because of our faith, but rather an opportunity for us to rely more fully on God
Matthew 6:25-7:12 (26 March) - Do not worry and do not judge hypocritically
Matthew 7:13-29 (2 April) - God wants a relationship with us!
Unexpected Triumph (April 9, 2017) The Scripture is Luke 19:28-44. Palm Sunday is the day we celebrate the triumphant entry of Jesus into Jerusalem, in preparation for His triumph over death. In the midst of all of Christ's triumph, let us never forget how much His victory cost.
Christ is Risen! (Easter - April 16, 2017) The Scripture is Luke 24:1-12. This Easter Sunday, we celebrate the beautiful resurrection of our Savior, along with its promise of new life, and remember that all praise belongs to our Risen Savior, Jesus Christ!
Resurrection (April 30, 2017) The Scripture is 1 Corinthians 15: 12-26. In the church, Easter is not just a day, but an entire season. We continue to celebrate Christ's triumph over death by examining some historical proof of the resurrection and by examining its central position in our faith!
Divergent Roads (May 7, 2017) The Scriptures are Proverbs 3:5-6 and Daniel 3:13-18, 25-27. On this day where we honored graduates at all stages in their lives, we examined Biblical texts on trust and reminded ourselves to make the choice to follow Jesus every day.
Power Up as One Community (May 28, 2017) The Scripture is Ephesians 4:1-7. We examined the ways that Paul tells us we can build a more Christ-honoring community of Believers and how we can work toward greater unity within the entire Body of Christ.
